We are truly dedicated to sustainability: it’s not just a word for us, but a way of being, thinking and creating. We focus on using sustainable materials and expert local craftsmanship, ensuring durable and stylish furniture that meets the highest standards of quality and durability.
We use sustainably harvested New Zealand wood from regenerating forests and we happily re-upholster old sofas to give them a new life. Our sofas won’t end up in landfill in just a couple of years, and we’re proud of that.

We had recently purchased some glass ornaments, and in April they caught the sun rays through the window and burnt a hole in my lovely Thurston couch. I knew that when I had purchased the couch many years ago that Jade Furniture had made. It was and is the best couch ever. I was able to claim insurance for repair and contacted Jade at the same time for quotes and to see if they could assist me. Not a problem. So professional, attentive, and proactive. Stocked with an amazing range of fabrics, the only one I wanted had to come from Poland! The couch is very wide and heavy, very well made. In order for it to be recovered we had to remove it from the house. Not an easy task! I had to obtain the services of glaziers to remove the bay window, and, when it had been repaired, the same procedure occurred. The lengths one will go to in order for their precious couch to be repaired. Thank you very much."
