Manufacturing process

All product used in our furniture is locally sourced in New Zealand with the exception of fabrics.

The integral structure of our frame is built using kiln dried Southland Beech as this is a very hard and clean timber with few knots. It provides the ideal technical properties of strength and rigidity for furniture manufacturing. The other product used in our frames is M.D.F. board which is braced and corner blocked with Southland Beech for added strength. This is why we give a 15 year warranty on our frames and workmanship. The Beech is sourced from a resource base which is operated under an approved Ministry of Forestry, Sustainable Forestry Management Plan and holds the Forestry Stewardship Council, code of compliance.

Seat and back technologies vary based on the look and comfort level you are trying to achieve. All our seating foam is Elephant Foam produced here in New Zealand which carries its own 10 year warranty. All foam used in our furniture is ultra-fresh treated. Our Feather / Pearl cushions and duvet wraps are made locally here in Christchurch using imported white duck feather that has been processed to meet Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) stringent standards.
